Somni Tapas, a popular eatery serving Spanish and Mediterranean flavors in Monroe, reopened in October in a new location at 15 Lake St., the former Monroe Town Hall location, said manager Jessica Smith. The restaurant was closed for almost a year.
Somni, which translates to “dream” in Catalan, primarily serves tapas and other Spanish-inspired dishes like paella paired with wine and cocktails. Since 2020, the restaurant owned by brothers Luis and Manuel Naula was at 590 State Route 208 in Monroe.
Somni is open 3-9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 3-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
